📜 Rules that matter (from the student guide 2024–2025)
- 75% attendance is mandatory in every course. That means you may miss at most 25% of the semester ≈ 4 absences over 14 weeks, and the budget is shared: spend it on lectures, on sections, or split it (e.g. 2 + 2). Cross it and you are barred from the final exam with an FW (counts as a forced withdrawal).
- This tool counts your lecture and section absences separately, but checks them against one shared budget per course.
- Graduation: 165 credit hours. Levels: L0 0–20% · L1 20–40% · L2 40–60% · L3 60–80% · L4 80–100% of credits passed.
- Registration limits per main semester: min 12 CH; max 21 CH if GPA ≥ 3.0, 18 CH if GPA ≥ 2.0, 14 CH if GPA < 2.0. Summer: max 9 CH (GPA ≥ 3.0) or 8 CH.
- Add / drop: add during week 2, drop until end of week 2 (main semesters). Withdraw (W) is allowed until week 10 (week 5 in summer) with advisor approval.
- Semesters: Fall starts September (17 weeks incl. 2 exam weeks) · Spring starts February (17 weeks) · optional Summer starts July (8 weeks, doubled hours).
- Grades: A+ ≥ 97% (4.0) · A 93–96 (4.0) · A− 89–92 (3.7) · B+ 84–88 (3.3) · B 80–83 (3.0) · B− 76–79 (2.7) · C+ 73–75 (2.3) · C 70–72 (2.0) · C− 67–69 (1.7) · D+ 64–66 (1.3) · D 60–63 (1.0) · F < 60 (0.0). Pass = D or above, CGPA ≥ 2.0 to graduate.
